Minerva stood behind her desk, waiting for Roxanna to arrive. Her desk was covered in leaflets, all for different careers. Flicking through them all, she gazed most upon her favourite. The brightly coloured one which said 'Have you got what it takes to be a Hogwarts Professor?'
Smiling, she put it back down and waited for the knock on the door.

Roxanna walked up to the headmistresses office, she had been summoned for a meeting, on her career options, to be honest she hadn't thought about it yet. She straightened out her uniform and knocked on the door, she opened it slightly and looked at the head mistress, "Miss, I'm here for a careers consultation" she said in a small voice. She looked around the pristine office and waited to be invited to sit down or whatever, the headmistress would ask.

The girl entered, she looked timid. Minerva gave her an encouraging sort of smile and gestured to the empty seat on the other side of the desk. She noticed the girl looking around the office and hoped she wouldn't ask about the immobilised tiger in the cage on the wall.
"Miss. Santiago, please sit down, just ignore the Tiger. Ginger Newt?" She held the biscuit tin out towards her, "Now, this meeting is to discuss your career options. Do you have a particular ambition?" She asked.

Roxanna sat down and looked around again when her headmistress said about the tiger, she looked at it and gasped "What the..." she stopped herself quickly and turned back to the headmistress, she wouldn't ask but she still wondered, why?
"Yes please" she said, gingerly taking a biscuit. "uh, I guess I'd like to do something with animals or be an auror?" she said in a question, she wasn't really to sure about what she wanted to do but she loved animals and all that, she looked back to the tiger timidly, she wasn't sure what it was going to do and she did not want to be on the wrong end of a tiger getting lose, a angry tiger either.

Minerva smiled at the girl. It was fine to be curious.
"The tiger is immobilised. I confiscated it from a student a couple of days ago," She reassured Roxanna. When she heard her response, she extracted a dark blue leaflet, a pink leaflet and an orange leaflet.
"An Auror would be tough, at least an Exceeds Expectations in Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Herbology and of course, Defense Against the Dark Arts. Animals is easier, just an Exceeds Expectations in Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. You can choose magical creatures," She held up the orange leaflet, "Or non-magical creatures," She raised the pink leaflet. On the front of the pink one was an animal that was clearly meant to be a pig. However, it didn't look much like it.
"You could also work for shops such as Eeylops Owl Emporium or the Magical Menagerie."

Roxanna looked at the options and thought about it deeply for a while "I think i'll go for magical creatures I'd get so much more out of it" she said, still thinking. She kept looking back at the tiger, even if it was immobilized it would be extremely angry when she undid the spell.
Roxanna looked over the auror booklet and it took a lot of work, she still preferred animals to catching criminals, smiling she decided "I will go for the Magical Creatures" she said very confidently. "Are you sure that its safe?" she asked pointing to the tiger.

"Good choice," Minerva smiled at her. She found Roxanna's file somewhere in her cabinet and opened it. "Now, you're getting good results in all of those subjects so far. Maybe put some work into charms I think." Everything looked in order to Minerva. She smiled again when Roxanna asked abouty the tiger again. It did look rather terrifying on her wall.
"It's perfectly safe, it won't move unless I break it's immobulus charm. And even if I do, he won't get out through that cage easily, I reinforced the bars." Minerva reassured her pupil.

Roxanna laughed at herself when Miss McGonagall re assured her that the tiger was safe, "Good, 'cause a angry tiger is not a good tiger" she said smiling, having a interest in animals she knew most everything you could about most animals and tigers being an interesting species she had looked up "Did you know miss that tigers and lions can breed, i believe there offspring is called a liger. Its infertile though." she said watching the tiger.
"I'll put more effort in Miss" Roxy said with a smile. She did like the headmistress as she was quite approachable.

"Interesting," Minerva commented, also looking at the Tiger, "I hope you don't mind if I don't put that fact to the test. So, to summarise, I would take Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. You need Exceeds Expectations in all of those and to achieve that level you'll need to put in some good hard work into Charms."
Minerva stood up and smiled at Roxanna. "Run along," She told her, grinning.
